How To Participate
Adhesions: To participate in the ArezzoFestival send a letter with a short presentation of the university or the college and the technical details of the forecast production to the address info@arezzofestival.it. The Festival committee will select among the applications. Performances: The Festival has an open format. Nevertheless the performances must be understandable for a public, who may not understand the same language of the actors. That is why we prefer performances which use a universally-understandable theatrical language ('physical' theatre, puppets, mime, masks, dance and music) in addition to the words. Theatrical places: The Festival will take place in the garden of the Accademia dell'Arte and in other venues of the province of Arezzo: Valdarno, Valtiberina, Valdichiana, Casentino. Workshop: The workshops are optional, but naturally everyone is invited to take advantage of the opportunity of working with people from different cultures and theatrical traditions. The workshops will be hold by the teachers who accompany the students groups. Hospitality: The Organization will offer free housing to the invited groups all through the Festival, in addition to two dinners for the beginning and the conclusion of the Festival. When we say 'group' we mean at the most a group composed by 10 people. Beyond this number, each other will provide for the cost of food and accomodation by himself. During the Festival there will be a refectory at the Accademia dell’Arte, where the participants can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at a reduced cost. Technical assistance: The organizational team of the Festival will provide technical and logistical assistance for all the participants.The groups will rehearse in the in- and outdoor spaces of the Accademia dell'Arte, as well as in the venue where will take place the performance. |
